What is FaithWise?+

FaithWise is an all-in-one faith app that combines Bible study, prayer journaling, devotionals, community, and AI-powered discipleship guidance. Unlike other apps that focus on one aspect of faith, FaithWise brings together your entire spiritual journey in one place.

How do I get started?+
  1. Download FaithWise from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android)
  2. Sign up with your email, Google account, or Apple ID
  3. Complete your faith background (this personalizes your experience)
  4. Start with the Seed (free) plan or upgrade to unlock premium features
  5. Explore Bible reading, prayer journal, study groups, or devotionals
Is FaithWise free?+

Yes! FaithWise offers a free Seed tier with core features — the full KJV Bible, up to 20 prayer journal entries per month, one active reading plan, one AI-generated devotional per day, and 30 AI chat messages per month.

Premium plans (Vine at $9.99/mo and Harvest at $19.99/mo) unlock unlimited access plus advanced tools like sermon preparation and church group management.

Can I use FaithWise offline?+

Yes, partially. Once you download the Bible text through the app, you can read the KJV Bible offline. You can also view saved journal entries, bookmarks, and notes.

Features that require internet: AI chat, community feed, study groups, prayer wall, devotional generation, and sermon prep.

What are the three subscription tiers?+

Seed — Free

Core Bible reading, 20 prayer entries/mo, 30 AI messages/mo, 1 reading plan, 1 daily devotional.

Vine — $9.99/month

Unlimited prayer entries, 500 AI messages/mo, 5 reading plans, unlimited devotionals, audio devotionals, create study groups.

Harvest — $19.99/month

Everything in Vine plus unlimited AI messages, sermon preparation tools, church group management, and unlimited reading plans.

Can I try premium features before paying?+

Yes! All users get a 7-day free trial of Vine or Harvest upon installation. No credit card required during the trial.

How much do annual plans cost?+
  • Vine (Annual): $99.99/year — saves $19.89 vs. monthly
  • Harvest (Annual): $199.99/year — saves $39.89 vs. monthly

To switch, go to Settings > Subscription and select the annual plan option.

Do you offer student or ministry discounts?+

Student discount (20% off):Students get Vine for $7.99/mo or Harvest for $15.99/mo. Verify via Settings > Billing > Student Discount using Sheerid or your school email.

Ministry pricing: 30% off Harvest for ordained leaders, custom rates for churches and faith-based nonprofits. Email partnerships@faith-wise.com for details.

How do I upgrade or downgrade my plan?+
  1. Open the app and go to Settings
  2. Tap Subscription or Billing
  3. Choose your desired plan and confirm

Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect on your next billing date — you keep premium access through your current period.

What if I only want to try premium for one month?+

No problem. Subscribe to Vine or Harvest for a single month with no long-term commitment. Cancel anytime before the next billing date in Settings > Subscription.

Billing & Payment

What payment methods do you accept?+
  • Credit & debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover)
  • PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay
  • App Store or Play Store account (if purchased through those platforms)
When will I be charged?+

Subscriptions are billed on your billing date each month (the date your subscription started). You'll receive a reminder email 3 days before renewal.

I see a charge I don't recognize.+

Please email support@faith-wise.com with your account email, the date and amount of the charge, and a copy of your billing statement. If it was a billing error, we'll process a refund immediately.

Charges appear as "FAITH WISE LLC" (web) or under Apple/Google for in-app subscriptions.

Can I pause my subscription?+
  1. Go to Settings > Subscription
  2. Select Pause Subscription
  3. Choose 30, 60, or 90 days

Pausing is free and your data (journal entries, notes, progress) stays safe.

What's your refund policy?+

If you're not satisfied within your first 7 days, we'll refund your subscription in full. Email support@faith-wise.com with "Refund Request" in the subject, your email address, and the date of your subscription. We process refunds within 2–3 business days.

After 7 days, we process refunds for billing errors or unauthorized charges.

Features & How to Use Them

How does FaithWise AI work?+

FaithWise AI lets you ask questions about Bible passages, theology, prayer, or anything on your faith journey. Go to the FaithWise AI section, type your question, and receive a scripture-grounded response. The AI remembers context within a conversation.

Limits:Seed: 30 messages/mo · Vine: 500 messages/mo · Harvest: Unlimited

Tip:Be specific — “How can I apply Philippians 4:4 to anxiety?” gets a better answer than “what's this verse?”

How does the Prayer Journal work?+

The prayer journal is your private space to write prayers, track answered prayers, and reflect on your prayer life. Tap New Prayer, choose a category (Praise, Petition, Thanksgiving, etc.), write freely, and optionally set a follow-up reminder. Mark prayers as "answered" when God responds.

Privacy: Your prayers are 100% private — only you can see them unless you explicitly share with a study group.

Limits:Seed: 20 entries/mo · Vine/Harvest: Unlimited

What Bible features are available?+

All tiers include the complete KJV Bible with full text search, highlighting (color-code verses), bookmarking, personal notes, and cross-references. After downloading, you can read offline.

Use Reading Plans to read systematically. Seed: 1 active plan · Vine: 5 · Harvest: Unlimited.

How do Study Groups work?+

Study Groups are communities organized around Bible passages, topics, or shared interests. Browse and join groups from Community > Study Groups. Groups can be public (join instantly) or private (requires admin approval).

Limits:Seed: Join up to 2 groups · Vine: 10 groups + create your own · Harvest: Unlimited

How do Daily Devotionals work?+

Devotionals are short daily scripture reflections with a focus passage, reflection question, and application. Open Devotionalsto read today's, save favorites, or share to your study group.

Vine and Harvest tiers get AI-personalized devotionals based on your reading history, plus audio narration.

Limits:Seed: 1 per day · Vine/Harvest: Unlimited

Account Management

How do I change my password?+
  1. Go to Settings > Account > Security
  2. Tap Change Password
  3. Enter your current password and create a new one (min. 8 characters)
  4. Confirm — we'll send a confirmation email
I forgot my password.+
  1. On the login screen, tap Forgot Password?
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Check your inbox (and spam folder) for the reset link
  4. Click the link and create a new password — the link expires in 24 hours
Can I use FaithWise on multiple devices?+

Yes! Log in on any device using your email and password. Your account, data, and subscriptions sync across all devices automatically.

If you share a device with family members, create separate accounts to keep journals and prayers private.

How do I manage notifications?+

Go to Settings > Notifications to toggle individual notification types on or off: daily devotional reminders, prayer reminders, study group updates, and community activity. You can also set your preferred reminder time (e.g., 7 AM).

Technical Issues & Troubleshooting

The app keeps crashing.+
  1. Force close: swipe up (iPhone) or tap back twice (Android)
  2. Restart your device
  3. Update or reinstall the app from the App Store / Play Store
  4. If the issue persists, email support@faith-wise.com with your device model and OS version
The FaithWise AI isn't responding.+
  1. Check your internet connection
  2. Close the app completely and reopen it
  3. Try a different question (specific requests work better)
  4. If you're on Seed tier, check whether you've reached your 30-message monthly limit
  5. Email support@faith-wise.com if the issue continues
Push notifications aren't working.+

iPhone: Go to iOS Settings > Notifications > FaithWise and ensure Alerts, Badges, and Sounds are enabled. Then return to the app and confirm your preferred notification time in Settings > Notifications.

Android: Go to Android Settings > Apps > Notifications > FaithWise and ensure notifications are on. Return to the app and confirm the notification time.

My reading plan progress didn't save.+
  1. Ensure you have an active internet connection
  2. Go back to the reading plan and mark the day complete again
  3. Close and reopen the app to force a sync
  4. If it still doesn't save, email support@faith-wise.com with your reading plan name

Data Privacy & Security

How is my data protected?+
  • Encryption in transit: All data uses HTTPS/TLS encryption
  • Encryption at rest: Sensitive data (prayer journals, passwords) are encrypted on our servers
  • No data selling: We never sell or share your data with third parties
  • GDPR compliant: We comply with EU and global privacy laws
  • Regular audits: Independent security reviews of our infrastructure
Can other users see my prayers?+

No. Your prayers are 100% private by default. Other users can only see your profile name and avatar, posts you make to the public feed, and your messages within a study group.

Your prayer journal and private reflections are seen only by you — even app moderators cannot access your private data.

What data does FaithWise collect?+

Required: Email address, hashed password, and subscription/payment info (processed securely by Stripe).

Optional: Faith background and traditions (helps personalize AI), Bible reading history, prayer journal entries.

Anonymous: App usage metrics and crash reports to improve the app.

We never collect your precise location, biometric data, or browsing history outside FaithWise.

How long is my data kept?+

Your data is stored as long as your account is active. Deleted accounts have all data permanently removed within 30 days. Read the full Privacy Policy.
